European Commission identifies over €3 billion in benefits from slot trading
On 30 May 2011, the European Commission published a study by London consultants Steer-Davies-Gleave identifying measures to improve slot allocation in Europe that are estimated to bring over €5 billion in net benefits by 2025. Over €3 billion of these benefits are attributable to EU-wide slot trading. more

The U.S Dept of Transportation (DOT) and the European Commission (EC) have granted anti-trust immunity to the Trans-Atlantic joint venture among American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia subject to the release of London slot pairs on selected UK-US markets. more
